Waltz Boston

It is almost Fall in the air...

I.
On a leafy yellow carpet outside back street,
Draped in airy silky tunic gifted by the wind
Fall was dancing while the day was winding down its heat
And the sax sang the song-
Waltz boston.

All the neighbors gathered here to watch her dance all day
Birds flew from across the town and sat on rooftops,
Clapping their wings to golden dancer move and sway.
The old house  - long ago here music was played.

Refrain:

I often see this one dream,
My unbelievable dream
Where Fall is dancing just for You and just for Me,
Where leaves keep on falling down,
The record spins round and round
Oh, please do not leave, please stay with me
My little whim!
I often see this one dream
My unbelievable dream
Where fall keeps dancing
To the waltzing boston theme...

II.
Getting drunk with pure pleasure, shedding off the years
Good old house fell in love with golden dancer
Windows open wide and swung his walls to waltz boston
Sharing joys of his soul
With the ones who knew him whole.

And when all the sounds faded in the cool street air
Everything that has a start must have an ending,
Having waited for a moment, fall cried out her last rain.
Oh, I will miss this one dream.
It was so good to be in.

Refrain:

I often see this one dream,
My unbelievable dream
Where Fall is dancing just for You and just for Me,
Where leaves keep on falling down,
The record spins round and round
Oh, please do not leave, please stay with me
My little whim!
I often see this one dream
My unbelievable dream Where Fall keeps dancing
To the waltzing boston theme...
