Her Lips
|
Him
|
|
the quiver
comes first
then
the parting
to reveal
its inner sanctuary
softly bending her lower lip
with prodding from
what at first appears
a stranger
she allows its pink interior
to be exposed
ready
to receive
my urgent mouth
no longer the stranger
we meet
halfway
but there is no halfway
only full swollen thrusts
of tongue and soul
that bend and move
to the rhythm
of our hearts
reaching out
for each other
as though
we cannot live
without the breath
of the other
so it is
we cannot
we won't
those lips
are mine
are hers
are ours
|
goodness!
he amazes me,
he touches me
as if eternal ethereal
moves me
higher
than the skies
but keeps grounded
on top of
right here
inside of
right now
again and again
every
moment
every
breath
every
touch
joyous
unbearable
lightness
of being
with him
in his arms
on his lips
inside his soul
i lose control
and let it be
just you
and me
as i am floating away
in a sweet haze of ecstasy...

Heartbeat
![]() |
| Still from "Three Meters Above the Sky" |
I cannot fly but with you I am floating so high
I only like when I win but to you I’d lose all the time
And even if I would have to lose the right to be me
I don’t like to repeat, repeat how you set me free.
The pulse is speeding up now, the trigger’s here in my hand
And in the blink of an eye your kiss shoots straight through my head,
And I am losing my mind for just a couple of hours
I fly and go crushing back into reality’s boundaries
And I have lost your heartbeat, and let time run though its sands
I fall asleep in your arms and let the clock stop its hands.
And I’m not ready to promise, and I’m not sure what to do,
And I’m afraid to admit that I’m afraid to lose you.
Maybe we shouldn’t repeat the words that everyone used
We can jump start the heartbeat and learn to fly if we choose.
