The Perfect Song

Starry Night, Vincent Van Gogh

Where can I find the words to harbor
Those happy moments walked under the sunlight
Where do I find the imperfect semantics
That will contain the perfect substance?
That even a sceptic could not challenge
That even the most evil one would cherish.

When night spills over the tired town
And stars emerge on a perfect canvas
The moon will witness the words fall down
Right through the rooftop onto your eyelids
Night will steer away all your fears,
Night will be whispering to your ears
Sounds so subtle, yet flawlessly clear
These tender words of love my dear.

Where can I find the perfect music
To invite the words for a little shuffle?
Just like the wind is chanting through tree leaves
Just like the sky looks at me through your blue eyes

Morning will be unwrapping the canvas
Morning will touch you with its perfect music
Morning will bring us the joy of substance
These tender sounds of love, so soothing
Morning will steer away our fears
Morning will be singing in our ears
Keynotes so subtle yet flawlessly clear
This perfect music is love my dear.

Time Stopped at Sunset

Boats are sinking into sunset’s sweet red wine
We don’t have enough time but we’ll be fine
Stars are shining bright stroking waves with light
The warmth of the day is slowly turning to night

The heart is spreading wings and is about to fly
It travels like an arrow through the sky
Where the surf is moaning and drowning in love
Where two boats are drifting far enough.

Don’t fly away, don’t fly away
To far off sea with magic bay
Our day is gone, it is homebound
To God’s forgotten anchorage ground
Where wind will marry boats and the sea
Where a candle is burning for you and for me.

The whispers of the wind are all good-byes,
Sky’s bathing in the sunrise, time slowly dies
The night has swept off your sweet dreams
Hopeless is attempt to come back to life as it seems.

The heart is spreading wings and is about to fly
It travels like an arrow through the sky
Where the surf is moaning and drowning in love
Where two boats are sinking deep enough.

Don’t fly away, don’t fly away
To far off sea with magic bay
Our day is gone, it is homebound
To God’s forgotten anchorage ground
Where wind will marry boats and the sea
Where a candle is burning for you and for me.

Peter Pan

"All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust."

“So come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned. Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings, forever, in Never Never Land!”

Fairy of Song/Bograd Kids

“When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.”

The Fairy of Vitality/Bograd Kids Collection

"Fairies never say 'We feel happy': what they say is, 'We feel dancey'.”

“You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”

Serene Harbor

Sumatra, Indonesia by www.princesswithabackpack.com

Of course my moods change, but the average is serenty. I have a firm faith in art, a firm confidence in its being a powerful stream which carries a man to a harbor, though he himself must do his bit too; at all events, I think it's such a great blessing.
